If you are using the stuffing method, be sure to change stuffing daily.  I stuffed mine, then went away for a few days.  Yuck!

I just turn them inside out too.  It's been working for around 20 years so I'm sticking with it.

I have some that are easy to turn inside out.  I always do it .  Because my feet get cold, the ones mentioned above are thick excel dive type, not subject to turning inside out.  Tho, folding the top down might help.

Ahh, that makes sense.  I see it's us San Diego guys saying to turn them inside out.  It never occurred to me that you would have to use dive booties.  Then I saw that robcasey is from Seattle!  It's cold up there.

I just hang my booties on a hanger for booties.  Bought at a local surf shop for $10.  I just hang the booties on the rack and hang the rack over my dry box with my other wet gear and next use, not the same day, all is dry.  Before then my booties were gross as they were in the bottom of the wet box.

ya my 7mm xcel drylocks can't be turned inside out, at least without a lot of effort.  i picked up the DryGuy bootie dryer, works great.

Good question!  I'd recommend getting a kayaking bootie which often have a thick sole and/or grip for climbing over rocks, etc. check out nrsweb.com
