I'll have to hive them a call on used units, only new listed online. But I've got a feeling they'll be outta my price range. Only ones I can afford right now are the Triton/Mobo single speeds, which I'd buy if I coukd try out in person what the ratio was. But since I can't find any locally looks like no 'bent for me any tine soon.

I think drivers have gotten a lot worse. Getting killed by some idiot who is texting would just piss me off.
that is exactly the reason why i gave up motorcycling a couple of years ago.
never really looked back. there are some nice bikes out there, but they can not compete against sup.
skoot, i wish you a good healing and forget about the  bikes man. that is a sport of the past i.m.h.o.

Thanx everyone, this is taking a lot longer to heal than I anticipated. I've been seriously considering hanging my helmet. I never thought I'd gear myself say those words. I love motorcycles, riding aimlessly, etc... Wish I was on here more but I have not felt well and I have not had much to say and didn't want to bore anybody with mindless rambling. Anywho, they took the pins out of my hand yesterday and wow, I dish know my thumb was gonna be froze from scar tissue. I really wanna paddle before it gets cold since I don't have any cool weather gear, but I'm not to that level yet.
It'd be really cool to find some locals that river SUP .

Went out Thursday to a little local pond for the first time since the accident. Was only out about 20 minutes and had a difficult time loading/unloading the SUP on the car. I took the board to the Florida annual SV rally since I had already paid for my cabin in advance and members were telling me to come even though I cannot ride 2 wheels.
So I went out Saturday on Lk. Louisa, near clermont with 4 others that rented 2 canoes. I was on the water an hour. It felt good... I cannot extend my left shoulder enough yet to attempt to try properly paddling. So I just did little strokes and kept moving. For now I'm gonna just try to get out and do little paddles when I can and once I can extend my left arm enough I'll beginworking on a correct stroke.
It's harder trying to manage loading/unloading the board honestly, I can't keep the board on the car since I keep it parked outside and it's a company car. My boss would have a fit if I just rode around everyday w/a SUP atop it.
Hope to hit up the coastal waterways soon and make a long, slow day of paddling, stopping, relaxing at local spots and going in maybe 30 minutes bouts of paddling between breaks.
