River surfing minus the paddle

I tried river surfing on sunday and loved it!!! I, at times, looked much like a small seal body boarding but loved ever second of getting beat by mother natures wave pool.

Ps: I surfed the green tongue in K country

Does anybody have any other experience with river surfing? what are you thoughts?
