Great time at the local Hurley event

Hurley sponsored a local surf contest for the groms in my town today.  The lake was glass flat, so Hurley and a local SUP dealer improvised and busted out a bunch of stand up boards and let everyone have at it.  Timmy Curran was there and was paddling  around with the really little kids, giving them rides out to the swim buoys and back, I got to paddle about on a great little SUP, and my daughter and her friend were going strong on their own board.  Afterwards, the local dealer gave a great cookout with pulled pork, burgers, fruit and potato salad, chips and salsa, and soda and water.  Timmy and some of the other pros hung out and had dinner with everyone before heading out for their plane home.  A great day and wonderful time for the people here.  The whole town is stoked today.
