Paddle straps

I'm looking for a set of paddle straps that will allow me to carry my board using the paddle as a handle.  I know there are a couple different products out there that do this.  Can anyone recommend the best one?

By the way my board doesn't have any built in metal rings, so I need the leash plug versions.

C4 makes them. Just google "sup paddlestraps".

The original C4 strap would release if not secured well. Tropical Blends made an improved version of the C4 idea. I think C4 had plans to improve the strap, but haven't seen one in a long time, so don't know if that ever happened.

I'd suggest contacting Tropical Blends.

I installed 2 leash plugs and used spectra cord for the straps.

DW is right about c4 straps slipping. I had to add a piece of q-power kiteline to reinforce the strap. The Tropical Blends look better.

So just to be clear, whether I go with C4 or Tropical Blends, I still need to buy 2 leash plugs to install these on the board, right?
