Washington State?

I am looking to drive south from Vancouver, BC to explore some WA surf spots. It can be for longboarding or SUPing. I did some research and Westport seems to be the closest spot. Can anyone recommend a campsite there or some cheap accommodation? Thanks!

Hi Princess,
I am not going to be much help, but when I was last in Westport several years ago, I stayed at a Motel 6.  Nothing fancy. I'll talk to some of my surfer buddies and try to get back to you with some other surf spots in the area.  Honk your horn when you drive through Bellingham.

I know it has been while, but I just noticed your post. Have you had any luck finding anything?

There are so many good spots between BC and Westport, but I can't give you any spot names as you could imgine why.....Though, Westport has lots of cheap motels and if it's week days, you won't have any problem to find rooms at there and even in weekend, you should still be fine around this time of year (except summer weekend) There will be contest going on mid May so watch out for  few days.
