I have been looking for pics of the starboard 14' ace and 14' coast runner. I have seen many of the racing shots of EJ Johnson, but I imagine his board is slightly different than what I would buy.
Would also love to hear about what anyone thinks of each board if they have tried them. Would really like to hear about bigger rider's experiences with them.
I know some of this has been touched on in other posts, but I am only interested in these two boards.
The starboard site has very little when it comes to pics. That is maybe because their designs change so often.
thanks for any info....

Do you know if any of the 2011 boards are in the US yet?  I checked with the Starboard dealer here in Cali and he says none available.  I was wondering the same thing.  How does the ACE compare to the NEW??

One word of caution about EJ.  He is an amazing paddler.  But more importantly he is smaller stature than the normal American guy.  Honestly he is even smaller than a lot of women.  He has amazing balance, can paddle just about everything.  If you watch what he is racing this year you will probably see something like it next year in the Starboard line up.  EJ is a super nice guy, fun racer, and really brings a lot to the sport!

Cheers, Jill

i had a go on a custom ace 14'x24" brushed carbon in complete flat water was slightly tippy but more stable with speed be nice to know if any one has had a go on the 27" and how it handles side chop but a very fast board reckon it was faster then the k15 any one used one in up or down wind.

I think the "ace" boards are the most current versions of the "new." I currently have a k15 and was looking for something fast and more versitile. I was hoping to hear someone in the states had got one. Looks like they haven't hit our shores yet
