went out on a local pond today for an hour or so.  two things clear: a pair of sup specific gloves would help and my feet froze rather easily.  oh and i am out of shape.  ha ha.  could not stay couped up any longer and a gym is not my idea of a good time.  it was snowing and oh so peaceful out there.  about 30 degrees i think but plenty warm above my ankles.

This is spring in the north east and I love it !!!! We've had some good waves over the last week and very few people in the line. Today was small, but beautiful none the less. 3-4 mm suit and 7mm boots, paddled my 9'6 waa around for about 5 miles and wound up staying local for some  2-3+ . WNW @ 18kts , air temp around 40f but feels like 30f .Low humidity and water temp near 39f. Here on eastern long island days like these are not taken for granted, because when  memorial day comes so do the masses and parking permits are big money ! Tickets get handed out like candy on Halloween. The fines are big and the waves are usually small until  autumn. Later, FMS

The previous couple days up here in ME=clean surf chest up to head high WSW winds (late drop city!) water a balmy 39 degrees just beautiful.Best mood I've been in all winter long
