Surf - Spring Lake NJ

Planning to go out at 4:30 this afternoon, last Spring Lake beach just before Belmar.  Swellinfo forecast is 2-3' and glassy, water 43, air temp mid 40's winds WNW at 8.  See you there.

Just got out from the South End of Belmar. Some bigger sets lingering, really fun. Probably won't be around at 4:30, but maybe. If not, some other time. THere were 3 of us in the water this AM. Myself, my friend Brian demoing the Starboard 9x33 Hero, and a you lady a little further south on an Oxbow. At one point last week there were 5 of us out!

Unfortunately, it looks like the rest of the weekend we'll see minimal waves.  But just as a heads up, there is a flat water paddle scheduled for Sat morning (that I'll have to skip).  They are meeting Sat morning, 11 am at Dog Beach on the Manasquan River.

My friend is out having another session now, I have too many other family obligations this afternoon and weekend. May get a dawn patrol in the AM tomorrow, but it doesn't look like the surf is going to hold.

surfed up by me in asbury last night and tonight good both days good long peeling lefts. water is getting warm finally..
