Perfect wetsuit top.
« on: March 02, 2011, 06:36:29 PM »
For the past couple of years I've been wearing a 1 mm longsleeve wetsuit top made by Matuse.  This is the most comfortable top I have worn and it is really warm for its thickness.  Part of this is that it has slick skin on the outside, which keeps the wind out.  Matuse no longer makes this top.  Can anyone suggest an alternative?  Slick outer rubber is a must.
Lots of foil boards 6’7”-7’4”, L41 TVD’s and Jimmy Lewis Strikers..

xcel makes something very similar. It's a 2/1, but I find it to be very easy to paddle i[url][/urlhttp://www.xcelwetsuits.com/products/us/surf

Ditto sideshore!-i have this one with the Rasta colors on the Xcel logo-looks sweet-outside is slick-super warm-you have to get lucky on the colors though-most are kinda boring black.

Quik also makes a nice jacket as well as the Oneill breeze breaker. More and more companies are exploring the SUP worlds needs.  Snowboard water-proof fleece jackets are also a good cold weather option.

Thanks for the feedback.  I found out that Matuse has re-added the suit to the spring line.  I love the one I have.  Down side is that it self destructed in two years.
