Cutting a Blade Down

hey lazy,
probably true about being over excited and I surely have the
"one more wave" syndrome.
But I didn't have this prob as much when I was using a lighter/smaller blade paddle, but hen I was just touring and not digging for waves or out of waves.

Thanks for the insight, I am sure what you say is true. Maybe I just gotta take a day off.

Man when i started out i made this paddle with a blade something like 10" x 17" absolutely massive, the thing practically dislocated my shoulders. I just paddled my ass off for months eventually being so burnt out i broke a rib just falling off my board. In time and with some rest my tendons got stronger and as of right now , no problems. We'll see what happens when it thaws out here though. good luck with the paddle.

I think for the surf, smaller seems better so I have experienced and watched a young strong pro with the smallest shortest paddle that weighed almost nothing tear it up.
