Altering my browser to fit the zone?
« on: January 26, 2011, 08:26:04 AM »
I'm having a hard time viewing the right hand side of posts.  Zooming out still cuts off the right size AND is tougher to read.  Any hints?

The Zone scales dynamically down to about 800 pixels as far as I can tell, the exception is when someone sticks in a huge picture. It should do that automatically with your browser, if it doesn't, try a different browser. I suggest firefox or Google Chrome. Chrome is kind of feature-poor but fast and generally well behaved.

there are serious privacy issues with chrome - most can be fixed
but use it carefully with the proper mode settings etc

Hi dstgean,

This is a known issue with older browsers.  In all instances it has been easily corrected by upgrading to the newest version of your browser.  All of the other instances were problems arising from browsers that were two (or more) generations old.  Let me know what browser version you are running if you need more help in troubleshooting.

must be the pics I guess.  This is a work 'puter, so no messing with the settings.
