Jack La Lanne RIP

What a guy. Happy trails Jack. I'll go juice a carrot in your memory, and follow it with a good scotch. What a man.

Sadness.  That makes me feel old.

Big fan of that crazy little bastard.  As a toddler, I would watch my mom doing exercises with Jack.

When I made it to high school, I tried to do one of these.  Never could, never will.  Very cool guy.  Very, very fit.

I remeber the feats of towing a boat swimming in S F bay long distance among other antics.  A pioneer for sure.  I"m sure he is revamping the workout routine in Heaven.  I can see him now, get those jumping jacks going and break out the juicer.   Farewell Jack !

I remember, as a young kid, sitting on the living room floor in front of our round, black and white TV watching him...  He was a real inspiration to millions to exercise and get into shape. RIP Jack....      Later,    JD

He lived in Morro Bay, a neighboring town of mine, he said that he can't die because it would ruin his reputation, he made it to 96.
Good job.
It takes a quiver to do that.

Just a badass.  I have the same memories as a kid as a lot of others.  Almost makes me want to break out a jumpsuit and do some jumping jacks in his memory.

The guy knew good training back when top athletes thought lifting weights was "bad" for performance.  Now the world's top GOLFERS lift weights.  Waaaaaaaay ahead of his time.

I tip this beer for you, Mr. La Lanne.  Aloha!

I taught a kayak rolling session to a mutual friend in Jack's pool last Fall. He was recovering from heart surgery, and sat at the edge of the pool and watched the whole thing. He called us pussies for putting on wetsuits (his pool was unheated and under 60 degrees!), and had some very astute obseervations about the kayak roll from a kinesiology perspective. He was a local character and added a lot of color to an already colorful region! RIP Jack.....

They don't make em like that anymore! Hey six feet, shouldn't it be a smoothie or something from a juicer?  ;D
