used once pristine 50cm Fuselage V1 $200

new HS232 V2 A+ tail wing w padded cover $225

quite an interesting thread....heres another thought. If your foil board had a couple thruster boxes you could double up on that finbox Boost drives and use that to get you going enough to stay up pumping or riding on swell with the foil and the Boost drives would no longer be in the water adding drag? hmmm

The new FG Armstrong boards look amazing …do you feel there is more stability in a given volume when compared to a more standard shape? IOW does the shape contribute to added stability and the possibility of riding a lower volume board ?

not sure why chisel tails are all the rage although I suppose its an easy way to reduce volume while still maintaining deck area...my Flying Dutchman custom 75 liter has straight tail , another advantage is increased stability when board is on water in comparison to a board with chisel tail and chines

Hey guys, just chiming in here I’ve been riding Armstrong foils for a while now and my favored set up here for wing foiling here in the SF bay area is the HS 1050 front wing, if the winds are lighter -which is rare for this time of the year -I’ll switch to the HS 1250. I just got the HA 1125 and I rode it once and was completely frustrated - 100 cm mast, 70 cm fuse, flying V 200 tail wing, and 1° Tail shim which I’ve been loving with the HS wings but with the HA wing it felt so weird, the wing wanted to pop up right away and then would fall back down and seemed super sensitive and twitchy. In a turn it had a tendency to want to roll out of the turn in the middle which could easily be rider technique but I haven’t experienced at all with the HS wings. After reading through this thread I think I may try it again with a shorter fuse and maybe a different tail and no shim but I’m definitely not convinced yet that it’s the right wing for me.... any Suggestions on the other components or shims would be most welcome. Sounds like running the mast all the way forward in the track may be helpful as well?

Hey there, selling a new Armstrong A+ upgrade kit, this has everything you need to upgrade your V1 wings and mast to be fully compatible with A+ fuselages. drill bits, file, guide screws, countersink reamer ,SS CS screws and barrel nuts and also has the PP shims which are used to change stab angle on A+ fuses

there is a good YouTube video by Armie Armstrong on how to do it

retail for both these items is $78, yours for $50 including ship 48 states

started on Duotone Echo w boom because thats what found to buy and seemed like an easy progression for me as an ex windsurfer ...then bought some Units because I thought it would be easier for traveling ( slightly more compact when packed up)

the big drawbacks i found to the Unit , or any wing with handles are this: when you pull the wing across the board and go to grab the second handle it can be quite a reach and if you don't nail it ya gotta start all over. then there is the squishiness of the handles, there is no way you can one hand spin a wing as fast as a boom due to the more direct movement transfer of the rigid boom...the boom makes it so nice for one-handed handling of the wing

starting is so easy one handed with the boom as well, just grab it in about the right spot and pull across and up!
the small amount of extra weight is well worth these advantages IMHO, I am sure I will get some feedback here though ;-)

In any case isn't it nice we have all these options, can't wait for my Slicks, seems like the perfect evolution

got some nice Go Foil gear for sale:

Maliko 200 front wing brand new never used w cover
GL 180 very light use no dings or scratches, w cover
GL 140 same condition w cover
9.5" pedestal w 18" flat wing tail, one small surface scratch on top of tail shown in pic, w cover
36.5" carbon plate mast, pristine no dings or scratches like new , all mounting hardware includes carbon flare washers , extra foil screws , and the screwdriver. This is a great foil set up for winging or SUP and the longer mast keeps you flying high without breaching!

I would prefer to sell as package-All for $2,000. OR Pick one wing w mast, hardware and tail for $1,200, individual wings at $550 each
