Flatwater and Touring / Lake Mahopac Paddle - First GoPro attempt

Here's the first try w/ the GoPro on a paddle...I did a quick edit in iMovie on the iPad.  It was pretty easy although still lots to learn to get it really dialed in.  The paddle was super fun and the light, fog and boat coming around the island made for some cool looking moments.  I apologize in advance for the length of the vid.....3:30 of Flatwater vid from someone else can get overly burdensome ...just wanted to give it a try.

OK - once again.... who's heading down to CR this winter?  What are your plans?  Jetblue from JFK to Liberia is at $386 RT...not bad w/ $50 SUP fees...

NorthEast / Hunting for a Hudson River Downwinder

I'm on the lookout for conditions that will make a downwinder possible on the Hudson....probably all we need is a straight North or South sustained wind thats in the 20mph+ range....  Probably launch from somewhere in the Hudson Valley (peekskill or beacon or newburgh...)

Hey - I'm gonna be in New Buffalo from appx 8/13 - 8/17, renting house close to downtown....anyone local wanna get together for a paddle or two?  I'm bringing out the 14' Glide so wanna do some coast runs on the lake as well as some paddles on the river.  Anyone have any local info they can share?

Myself and SUPerBowl will be heading up to Cape Cod for a few nights on Tuesday (5/29).  We will be doing some work for a client and staying at their house in South Harwich (slightly west of Chatham).  We will, of course, also be looking to get in a bunch of paddles and surf sessions while we are there, schedule is flexible......  Anybody in the area wanna get together for a surf or a beer??

We just returned from Costa Rica a couple weeks ago.  We miss it so much!!  Caught some great surf.  I am working on organizing a few pics and will post them soon.

This is the protein powder that I've switched over to...It's all natural, plant based and doesn't leave me w/ the all day "aftertaste" that others do that contain artificial sweeteners.  Tastes great and pretty good amount of protein also..

Just wondering who may be heading to CR this winter....We're hoping to be there for a month or so, starting in February.  Will start in Tamarindo / Langosta and use that as the home base, then hoping to hit Quepos and Osa as well.  Let me know....

Travel, Trips, Destinations / Maine - York Harbor Area??

Hey guys - I'll be taking a trip up to York Harbor in early Sept and wanted to find out if anybody has some experience w/ the area.  We'll be at the York Harbor Inn and was curious how far it was to a decent break, what the Harbor was like for flatwater runs, shops, etc.. and any other general info you may be able to pass along.  Thanks!!
