I saw this first thing this morning and instantly thought about the foils for these waves.

I looked in to doing the surf thing there but the charters seemed ridiculously expensive.  To me it seems like a great road trip. You just need that schedule for the ships,  a few guys, a boat, and a marine chart on a gps to give you the depths, tides, and contours to guess where the waves will probably break. Might take a little hit and miss in the beginning but i am sure you could figure it out real quick.  Especially if you study the charts real good before you go.

Just curious if any of you guys have looked into Original Strength by Tim Anderson and Geoff Neupert.   I ruptured my L5-S1   years ago and have strengthened it back now.  I have been following his exercises for a few weeks now and they have seemed to be loosening me up in a good way.  Hope I can explain this correctly.  Basic concept is the X across our bodies and strengthening it via the way we did as we grew up from infants using head nods, rolling and crawling.  He has a youtube channel where he puts up explanations, demonstrations, and extra exercises.  The book was only a couple of bucks and you can read it pretty quick.

you could either buy or make a trollpro that the fisherman use to see what has been following their baits.  You could either rig it off the tail of the board or create a harness to trail it off the nose even.  If you made your own you could mess around with the angle you are filming.

These should give you some ideas.

and also if you google "gopro trolling camera housing"

You lost.
Our turn.
Get in the back seat and strap in.... you are in for a bumpy ride.... and I can't wait  :)

So you are willing to identify with Trump? Impressive in all the worst ways.
I gotta say after the insanity today I probably would be ashamed to even breathe the same air as that numpty.

we get that you don't like trumpster,

But wasn't it Obama that said a few things like

-Elections have consequences

-you lost, get over it

-don't boo, Vote!

now lets go paddle somewhere. it is a lot more relaxing.

Hey Linter,

You have received some very good info here. I am just going to throw out another option.  there is a pretty good strength coach named Dan John.  He is no-nonsense, just meat and potatoes guy with a great reputation in the strength world for keeping things simple. and he is over 50 so he has an idea about you older guys. :)  You could try and get in contact with him.  I think the easiest way would be to get on this other forum and explain your situation and maybe see if you could talk to him about what you are going through.

I have no affiliation with him, except for reading his books, listening to his podcasts, and watching his youtube videos.

Yes I did handle that one. It did not stand out either way, light or heavy. It was not carbon construction.  That one was a nice size too at 8'0  x 30.5  x 125 liters. I was drooling over both the yellow ones in that photo.
