Thanks JD. Got to sneak out again yesterday morning while the winds died down and went NW. Still a bit choppy but it had some size to it. The board handled great! It is a short board but has the volume to keep your confidence and stability while paddling around. It does paddle a little side to side, however, it is also a true surf sup; fast and loose, it surfs great. With a semi-surfing stance and favoring your weight to your paddling side it goes where you want and clears waves well on the way out. Hopefully it cleans up soon!

Akcoastie,

Let us know how the board selection goes. I am launching a website for all of us who serve and surf at http://www.milsurf.com. There are lots of other coasties out there who sup and enjoy other water sports and I hope to bring us all together. Good luck!

Here is a little info on my new board. http://youtu.be/oamwczTvgGs
Not the best video, but you should be able to get a good look. The board has been awesome the last few days. Has been around 3-6' and pretty choppy the last couple of times I have been out, but the board handled great. Can't wait to get some better conditions.
