Just a thought... has anyone tried strategically placing footstraps on downwind boards pertaining to conditions. Check out photos for type of conditions I'm talking about.

Here's your downwind spot Stoney if you dare. Took the photos in April of a few friends windsurfing Corporation Beach in Dennis, MA., Cape Cod. Wind blowing NW around 30 mph. Keep on thinking this would be a great spot for the advanced, very advanced downwind paddlers straight to Wellfleet.

Once again it's time for the 4th annual fall classic "Paddle for the Bays: Race Cape Cod" Saturday, September 21, 2013 Ropes Beach, 85 Old Shore Rd, Cotuit, MA 02635 around beautiful Oyster Harbor Island in either the 5 or 10 mile course depending on your division. Enter and try to win a beautiful hand made wooden trophy made by our very own zoner CYCLOPS. This years race will be WPA sanctioned.

Random / World's longest sneeze hold-in.

I may have set a world record today for holding in a sneeze.  I did a 3 hour morning session today and got home to find an Larry Ellison fin on my door steps that he wanted me test. So I put the fin on my other board and went back out later around 3:00 PM. Today on Cape Cod was a fairly warm day (61 degrees) for this time of year and the water temperature is 50 degrees so they say.

This morning was foggy but I had a gut feeling it was going to burn off for my island loop. I decided to dress light with Season 5 leggings, booties, sleeveless t and life jacket waist belt whatever you call those things. My choice of clothing was correct the sun came out half way around the island although you still don't want to fall in the water at 50 degrees. Got back a few of hours later a little tired because I only had a breakfast smoothie and no water during the trip.

On the late afternoon session it's a little bit colder and windier but I'm wearing the same cothing. I head out and about two hundreds yards out I have to sneeze. I'm trying to hold it in because I have alergies and once I start I'm good for about 7 to 10 sneezes and don't want to fall into the 50 degree water the way I'm dressed. So for the next 1/4 mile or so I'm trying to make it the nearest beach without sneezing. I can't tell how many boarder lines sneezes I came close to having. It could be a world revord. You know the ha, ha, ha, hold your nose type thing. Anyway I made it to the beach without sneezing and of course once I get on land I didn't have to sneeze anymore.

Anyone ever fall off their board sneezing?

I actually threw out my back once sneezing.

Here is a pic although not very good I was telling Creek about when out paddling a few days ago. The dude's got an anti-aircraft gun hidden in the trees on his land. I assume it's non functional.

Tonight Monday 4-15-13 on New England Cable Network NECN check out Project Weather at 8:00 PM they are going to talk about surfing with sharks. I believe it's local coverage like Cape Cod.
