wow! great pictures!!!!   especially impressed with someone besides Creek trunking in May!

Actually that's a friend of Creek's Jim C which was taken last Fall. Jim is old school and at the time I took that shot most were already in wet suits.

Here's a few more from either this past weekend or this year. I enhanced the color on most.

What a fun weekend by all gotta love the Cape Cod Surf Community. Yes, we were standing almost next to each other. Had a similar experience with surfer/surf photographer R.I.P Dave Harmon when we were standing side by side. Gotta give gratitude to all that sacrificed for us to enjoy weekends like this past one.

I and my buddy Ray T may have been the last to talk to Dave. Everyone was done surfing for the day once the tide got low some hung out in the parking lot for awhile talking story, checking out a friends new surf van, the vibes were right because all had a good session waves for everyone. Most left and I was putting my camera in my gear bag in the parking lot and Dave shows up and kidding I said Oh, you missed it which was basically true though. Dave said he had to help his sister move. It was just starting to sprinkle they were calling for rain but Dave said I just want to go out and get wet. The waves were like knee high by now nothing special but the draw of the ocean called. Dave then headed towards his car. Ray and I took off in our cars not thinking twice.

I didn't find out about Dave until I got home. A surfer friend who lives in the western part of Massachusetts 100 miles away called said he heard it on the news. Then the text started and the second guessing, etc. Dave will be truly missed, very easy going guy. His last words will always stick with me... I just want to get wet.

Some previous photos of Dave.

Way to go Creek well earned. Johnny Driscoll told me you were going to Thailand last week. Hopefully the Sharkoni stairway will be rebuilt by the time you get back.

Jesus H, Biggie... stop being so humble. Mr. Big got attacked by a 11+ foot great white last month on Cape Cod. He made out ok but his board got some nice teeth marks. Post some pics Biggie I can't find any on my side.

My guess the surfer was just a beginner.
