Classifieds / FS - Ocean Rodeo Glide A-Series Wings (4m / 5m), USA

Selling 4m and 5m Ocean Rodeo Glide A-Series (full Aluula frame) wings. Both have been used for less than a year and have not lost any power or shape. 5m has a very small canopy tear that has been taped and works perfectly. No repairs or issues on the 4m. Bladders are unpatched and original (these are the newer Glides with pinned bladders).  Includes a carbon handle in front and soft handle in back on each wing, which I have found to be the best way to ride these wings, but if you want soft handles I might be able to dig them up.

Im thinking $750 each or $1400 for both (plus shipping). These are $1300-1500 new and are some of the best wings on the market.  Get a super premium quiver for a relatively budget price.

Travel, Trips, Destinations / La Ventana - March

Im planning a spring break trip with my family in mid/late March (open for ideas).  Is that time of year too late for La Ventana?  I'm looking at WindGuru stats and it still seems to be reasonably windy, but from other places Ive heard the wind really shuts down in March.  Looking for any feedback.

Also considering Caribbean, but Sargassum is becoming a real issue that late in the season.

Classifieds / FS - Uni Foil Hyper2 190

Selling my hyper2 190. It is in good condition with some minor scuffs that have been lightly wet sanded. Retail is $900, thinking $700.

Buyer pays shipping from Massachusetts. NOTE - I’m traveling and can’t send until June 22 or so.

I love this wing. It is much more nimble and fast than you would expect from the size. I’m selling because I have too many overlapping options and this one is slightly too fast for my bay run downwind conditions.

Classifieds / WTB 2.8-3m wing

Im looking to buy a used wing in the 2.8-3m range.  Has to be good condition and no older than 2021/2022.  I can get a new 2022 Mantis or Takoon v2 for ~$550, to give some context for my price expectations.  Figure this is a size that doesn't see a lot of use for some people, let me take it off of your hands.

General Discussion / Bolts for Dolts - materials, sizes, sourcing

The definitive bolt thread!

Can someone please inform me of the best material for foil bolts, in terms of strength, corrosion resistance, etc…?  Titanium vs Stainless?  Assume Torx is recommended for M6s, and normal hex for M8?  Anything else to look out for?

What about T nuts?  Im mostly used to brass, but if other materials are better I would like to know.

I’ve been getting most of my hardware from ProBolt, which has a decent selection, but if there are other sources that are recommended, please let me know.

Classifieds / FS: Lift 170 surf / 40 Stabilizer + Ride Engine Bird Machine Foil Board

Selling the following foil gear:

• Lift 170 surf foil and 40 stabilizer. This is as close to the "classic 170" setup as the 2-piece Lift foils can get. This is an excellent kite foiling or novice prone surfing setup. Very user friendly, stable, and turny.  Comes with original zip cover. Excellent condition. No mast.  $450 for the whole setup (front wing and stabilizer). I think this was probably around $900 new (I am the original owner).
• Ride Engine Bird Machine foil board. Barely used condition. Includes an NSI V front strap. This is Ride Engine's current foil board offering. Purpose built for kite foiling, but also works great for wake or even tow-in surfing. $550. I think this was probably around $1000 new (I am the original owner).

Classifieds / FS: Lift 32" Mast, $450

32" Lift mast.  Includes original padded velcro sleeve.  Very good condition, very minor scratches.  Purchased new, original owner.  $849 new from Lift, selling for $450.  Real Watersports is selling the same mast, used for $715, so $450 seems like a pretty reasonable price.

Split shipping with buyer.  Located in the northeast.

Would also consider a trade for Lift 120HA.
