Dwight, We had cheaper flights to Sanford via Allegiant Air but they no longer stop here. Spirit does Baltimore - Ft. Lauderdale .. Mid week. 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM Nonstop $58.89 Return about the same time Sunday is $80. (all fees - except baggage)
BUT, in my enthusiasm at the prospect, I did not read the Contract of Carriage properly. It states a max of 160" (L+W+H) ..but the actual max length accepted is 80". Much too short for a SimmSUP or the like..
...and this is twice what AirTran will allow, per their Contract of Carriage. (80" total) ..even tho' they list Kayaks as something they will ship. I guess Little People like to kayak.
Thanks CBS - I will add Del Ray to my list of Wanna's. Sharks are a statistical problem. I don't like the prospect of Bull sharks however - they can screw up the numbers. Cheers.

Cocoa/Satellite Bch looks pretty predictable for something to paddle into during the winter, but cheap flights go into Ft. Lauderdale, so where would you suggest someone go for 2-3 day sessions that is closer to Lauderdale? Thanks.

H-M, I recently added the Sony to make some grips, and I gather it has the same fog issue as the Hero. There's no space for a packet of desiccant in any housing that I have seen in these small cams. The GoPro strips should work. Marked down to $7. http://gopro.com/camera-accessories/anti-fog-inserts/Jim ....added later (not mine - a copy/paste) These instructions tell you how to create a desiccant bag.
Silica Gel - You can get this from your local hobby store. It is used for drying flowers. Make sure to get "indicator crystals" in with the silica. They will turn from blue to pick, telling you when you need to recharge your desiccant bag. Also, silica gel comes as crystals, not as an actual gel.
Cloth - I have some muslin in the picture, but you may wish to have something a little more dense. Perhaps an old cotton shirt would work. You do not want to let the silica out.
Vinyl - I have some medium weight vinyl, which will let me see the crystals on one side of my bag so I know how much moisture was adsorbed. You can use cloth on both sides if you do not intend to look at the crystals....you would think; "The lesser volume of air in these housings would mean very little is needed." ..? You may have small bags of these laying around from you last electronics or camera purchase that you you modify to suit.

Even the name CASCADA is cool.. had to think; "Wy'ze thrown the paddle?" ..on the first drop. ..because he needed arms to right himself at the bottom. The SUP drop was ill conceived - the brand of board is probably 'Headhunter'.
Isn't it cool what real artist will do for little $$ reward. The whole thing was 3X what passes for commercial quality on my TV. Whew...

Was he on Naish or Cabby skis? Interesting physics problem.. not likely repeated at 'a break near you'.

Ya, S-B.. it's a '68 Intl. It's like a hay wagon with full body. I leave out the back seat and can get a 9-0 inside, locked up. It's thirsty with a 2-speed trans and small V-8. A VW Thing may be more practical and cheaper than that swimmer. There's over 100 of them listed here: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/cat.php?id=15Jim

I was unable to 'paddle out' prone thru shore break. I simply could not windmill my arms. Ahhh, I figured I would simply bust my way thru the pain.. Eh-eh.
I had both shoulders injected last March. I have been pretty fine since. $1800. for a 30min procedure.

This has been my 'surf truck' for maybe 20+yrs..(the Polish Ambulance) It's semi-retired because I am sort of bored with chasing 'orange primer' and the misc. mechanical issues. I bought a Meyers Manx that will be easier to keep up. It will need a trailer to haul all my crapus however. Jim

Did you simply set the cam there - stand in the sand - and take a quick vid to see if that is the view you really want?
The other problem I see is the leash/camera conflict. If you used one ..and did a get-off - I see it ripping the camera from its moorings. Or if you did not use a leash - you'd have to be damn sure you bailed off to the side.
The suction mount will give you other options vs. the glue-on but you need a clean, glassy surface for it to take a grip.

srowndedbyh2o.. Buy an Omron blood pressure wrist meter off Ebay. Betcha the cost of the meter, your pressure drops off-the-cliff: if you lay under a truck and, raise your arms. Low pressure + <50-60 BPM = Oh Chit!
Enough morbidity and mortality.. We are here to play!

PD.. It is my understanding that the Varicella zoster virus resides in a mostly dormant state in nerve tissue in the spinal column - only to later come out and bite about 30% of its hosts in the ass with a bad case of Shingles.
But, results are what we are all looking for, eh?
Interesting about Flonase.. You can buy it from NZ w/o a script. I would not know what to do if the ringing in my ears went away? It's like a an audio health-o-meter, it changes volume/pitch if I am under the weather.
