We ended up on United. Went out from LAX so it was free going, just regular bag free’s $40 & $50 second bag etc. flew back into NJ and was charged $130 and $140 two bags with 2 boards in each, so not to bad for riding your own boards!

The Shape Shack / Re: Best Sanding Screen for EPS?
« on: February 19, 2021, 06:43:28 PM »
Thank you TallDude,
I was thinking more about the rails and not getting any chunks! I was gonna do 9 boards without taking all day. I usually take my time with no hurry, but doing 9 and travel time etc. was trying to expedite without a disaster!  I thought someone was recommended a new screen they used on rails that works really well. Poly is like butter and depending, sometimes EPS is a little fickle etc. I’ve got plenty of 3m screen and sanding pads, so I’ll be fine 👍🏼

The Shape Shack / Best Sanding Screen for EPS?

I saw or read a while back that someone was using a certain type of sanding screen on scrubbing out an EPS CNCed blank. Any recommendations other than what’s on most of the surfboard supply stores? I got a big batch of boards to do and wanted the fastest and least amount of chunking!
Thank you 🙏🏼

Hey guys,
Just checking, because it say’s no paddleboard or paddles on Jet Blue, but I know a couple years back they were allowed! Bag with board and paddle inside less than 8’6” as it's a 7’11” board! Heading to CR February if traveling there is still a go!

Thank you 🙏🏼

Very cool, and great work!
Sorry I missed you on my last trip out west. It seemed every time I checked DoHO last winter it was small or crap. Maybe this fall 🤙🏼

I want to Prone on it, don’t think I could stand up paddle into a wave, maybe knee SUP 😬
I’ll be out in a few weeks, see you at DOHO

We have had some really good waves this fall, with periods of to much wind and wrong direction in between. That’s what you get on the EC. Patience is a virtue 😬 I’ll be back out west at the end on the month 🤙🏼

No, I just meant that I also have an 8’1” and 7’10” that I mostly ride. I did leave an 8’3” out in Cali for this winter, so technically I’ve got another 8’3” as my biggest board in my quiver. But gonna get a flatwater race type board for when it’s flat. That’s why I’m selling this one.
Thx
