It was interesting that the paddlers passed the guy with the surfwing... I figured the surfwing might be an advantage in a downwind?

The guy on the wingsurfer was still trying to figure that thing out. I've become super skeptical of that thing since seeing the trouble people are having with it.
Makes me rethink how regular kitesurfing can be applied to this discipline. I have a few ideas I cant wait to try out!

You'd be better off calling the fit good if it's still too tight to line the hole up and just grinding the screw hole to an oval that lets you get the screw in.

Thanks PB, I was wondering if that was a viable option or me just looking for the easy way out. Gonna go that route!

My biggest issue with popping up in flat water is paddle speed. I dont know how Ill ever do it as fast as they do. Is paddle speed something you worked on or were you fast to begin with?

Kite foiling, Im using the Kai now but its alot of lift. Biggest issue is I cant use the foot strap holes that came with the board. I have to move my feet foreward to accomodate the extra lift from the KAi. Kinda sucks to learn strapless.
