I'm looking for a 80-85cm Clydesdale.
I do have a 96cm Clydesdale that I would consider trading.
If anyone has any adapters or other P.C. parts, you can post them here too.

Not if this help. I have a Wiki blade with no shaft.
I'd be interested in buying a shaft preferably tuff. Or selling the Wiki and a extended handle.

I like the following graphic. It shows where a Barracuda shape (Yellow graph) ~ 8 feet X 19 inches maxes out at 4.5 mph. At that point you better be porpoising and converting to hydro-foil lift.
This is a great traffic but it would be so much more helpful and relevant if it was separated. One with the same width but different lengths, and I a with the same length and different widths. Id assume it's already been done but finding it...

and he also invented the sport of winging upwind and then deflating and foiling downwind.
I'm pretty sure I invented going up wind and deflating (popping) my wing and going downwind. Okay I see now, you're saying he was "foiling" downwind. My version is more flopping and floundering downwind. Loving your interviews, keep up the good work Robert

I flew to Miami to get a expedited passport What's that run ya, Fishman? I renewed my son's passport in 2019 and it was $100 for mail-in. No online option that year. When I renewed December 2022 for me and my wife it was $130 ea online. Sh#t! ain't cheap!
Easy enough to do your own photos in Photoshop. Made a template.
I don't remember. It wasn't much more than normal dollar wise. Just time wise standing In line with with a bunch of others who had similar passport issues. I actually got to visit my cousin in Miami while I was there. Lemon into lemonade every chance we get.

I did the same thing and felt like a idiot. I was on my way to Haiti after the Earthquake to help with orphanage, school and church stuff. The group went ahead and I flew to Miami to get a expedited passport. Spent the night and a lot of the day Monday standing in lines. Got to Haiti a different way which included public bus ride to the final destination. The trip turned into quite a adventure. It was a reminder how life more about the adventure getting there, than the destination itself. I got to see a close up of impact that the others did not.

Nice track reinforcement idea. I wonder if 3/4" Home Depot PVC board could work instead of a track for the top deck.
I have a board that can use this modification/ repair.

...Malo can probably paddle on a beachball and make it look stable
Agree Malo is super talented but I can really see the lag in his turns compared to his usual style on smaller boards, 7Kg for 112L is REALLY heavy... a lot of swing weight. They've gone overboard on the dimensions in their V1 effort, too narrow, too thick and way too heavy (the biggest surprise). Not cheap either at 1200 Euro
Certainly not as turny as on smaller gear, but they say the foil in that video is the 122cmXXL Fluid H with the new fluid largest 47cm stab. I suppose larger board feels better with the larger stab, longboard vs shortboard kind of thing. Personally It would be nice to be able to get a board like that for that price in my area.

Anybody have a look /try of Kaupers boomed 5mt I 6mt wing called Tyron?
https://en.kauper-xt.com/tyron-wing
I really love my glide 6mt all the way up to 20 knots.. But im not sure how much Longer the aluula material is going to hold up.. The yellow is flaking off a over the place and no idea how that "de lamination" will effect the longevity... So I'm just beginning to look at light-ish options for my big wing before it becomes an "emergency" purchase! Jeje..
Such a nice design. The handles just look right. The boom option, the weight has a lot of my boxes checked. I'd really wanted to order one. The sad thing it that they don't ship the USA or Canada.

Interesting how the North fabric is supposed to a lot lighter... What did they say 105 grams/meter? Yet their 8m light wind wing is said to be heavier than the Dacron Fone 8m CWC.

Theres a diluted shoe goo concoction that kiters use. If you search kiteforum.com you can find it. Kites and wings definitely come coated with something to repel water.
Thanks guys. Good info as always. So this kind of made me laugh as I Googled "shoe goo concoction". But low and behold I found a interesting thread on the subject. And the E6800 may be even a better option than Shoegoo as it has UV protection also. I got some more reading to do. The logistics of where (what environment and temp...) and the how to's will have to be considered also. https://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2405356

Do you apply waterproofing to your Wing?
I notice my 5m Slick wing has about a 1m area of the canopy that holds water (looks saturated) while the rest seems to repel the water to some degree. I don't know that it makes much difference but to keep the gear up best I suppose appling some type of waterproofing spray might be a good. Any suggestions?
