Sessions / Relaxing cruise

Went for a relaxing paddle with the wife. Took a thermos of coffee and went out to the islands. Great morning. With kids and work etc a quiet moment like this is awsome. We always say we should do it more!
 Haven't been paddling much lately.

I noticed they have a new range of foils. Different fuselage for less drag.
 Will the old wings be compatible with the new fuselage?
 Maybe you will get the new version?

Olivia Piana has been working with Decathlon. I think she is sponsored by Takoon as well. I think she has had a big influence in the SUP and foil side of things in Decathlon.
 They are bringing out a new carbon race paddle that looks interesting as well.
 Didn't North try a foil that looked like that.

If you have built a few sup boards already a wakesurf should be easier i would think. Not sure of the actual dims but could it be a solid board.
 Shape 3D has a hollow board function in the paid version. You can take a 1 month license for not too much.
 What SUPs did you make?

I don't know how many times I've paddled around the islands off Cannes over the years but it can still surprise me. You never know where there is going to be a bit of current or chop. Thats why I still love it. Its never the same.

Something weird going on yesterday. Some current pushing me and just a bit of chop and I struggled for about 15 mins. Then got out of it. Managed to catch this on vid. The secondary stability of this board is great.

I have been thinking about a creek kook hat but don't like wearing hats and the gopro is quite heavy. I do wear a light floppy hat in the summer. I think for a long paddle it would get annoying.
 Will look into some sort of chesty attachment. Again with a lifejacket on not great. Might be able to attatch it too the jacket somehow.
 There is a great shop here in France that does Gopro copy stuff. I bought a double charger with 2 batteries for about a quarter of the price of the Gopro one.
 The Gopro app works quite well for editing. You connect to the gopro and edit via Bluetooth and only download what you want. I am sure a computer will be quicker and easier though.

Camera is on a FCS plug i put in the board.
 Must say the Gopro hyper smooth is pretty good.
 The Gopro 7 chews the batteries though. I guess with the gps on stabilisation, high res etc its to be expected.

Another short vid. I am trying to paste afew shortvids together to show a full 10k tour of the island I normally paddle around. As people have said I need to do this on a computer and stop trying on my phone. One day!

 What do you use to edit. Just bought a gopro and trying to make a short vid.
