Count the wings at the local wing beach. Figure out how many wing beaches. Extrapolate. I’d say 70 in Ventura alone.
All the major brands are selling out which I think is a better indicator. 184

If you make me a wing board I'll buy another wing. Is that motivation enough

As far as prone foiling goes. You either started three years ago on Naish or gofoil. I started on Naish. It was an aluminum mast and fuse. The industry moved beyond them quickly. We all moved to different brands. Going back to aluminum now seems a step backwards. If you want to ride aluminum you ride axis. Otherwise you ride one of the all carbon brands.
I foil with a Naish rep. He makes the new ha gear look real good. 186

Slight clarification here. There is a 799. I've heard of it, just not seen it personally. I just meant the CM2 numbers may be slightly different.

Apparently things have changed slightly since that catalog went out. That was from back in July. I don't know exactly what. But don't take that catalog as gospel.

Does golf equipment still travel free? Use a literal golf bag.

I rode the 16mm when i had my axis setup. I liked it and never noticed any ventilation issues.
Listen to the progression project with Adrian from axis if you want to hear the percentages of how stiff one is from the other. 193
Classifieds / Re: Wings and wing board and sup foil board for sale« on: October 30, 2021, 07:49:45 PM »
I’m intrigued but I’m in Los Angeles. I’d be looking at the 5’1” Dwight board and 5m strike. Any idea on shipping cost and fee to 91304? Or southwest cargo to Burbank possibly.
Any deals if I buy more wings? I could maybe get some guys out here to go in on wings too. 194
Wingsurfing, Windfoiling, Wingfoiling, Wing SUP / Re: Getting ejected out the front door...« on: October 25, 2021, 08:28:17 AM »
Are you pushing sideways through the water when you fall? You say it's like you lose pressure on one side of the wing. The windward side? So if you're leaned over into the wind that sounds to me like you are talking about the side of the front wing that is deeper in the water. You also mention it happens on several different front wings.
That doesn't sound like front wing ventilation to me. It sounds like mast ventilation. The mast is a lifting surface too. Is this what you're describing? 195

You'll know when you ride it. If you lift the rear edge of the stabilizer you get more lift. So in the scenario you just laid out, you are lowering the rear edge of the stabilizer which will mean less lift. I find those kind of things are easier to go by feel as my eye isn't accurate enough to judge the angles.
