Beasho, do you have an orange board?

I tried to contact him about getting a board a few months ago, his website didn't work, and he never responded to my message on IG... Glad to hear he's getting a new website. I like the look of some of his boards.

here's a random question I have, which hand do you put your wing leash on, and why?

I always put mine on my left wrist, don't have a good reason, except for maybe it's the downwind side when I'm walking down to the water.  Just wondering if there is a rhyme or reason for the side you choose...

After spending 9 summers working up on Hood, I usually try to make it back there for a few days every summer. Obviously this summer it never happened.  I'm hoping next summer I get to fly around on the river with a few of you.  The conditions you get sound super fun!

I just put an order in for a 4'10 70L board from Dwight. My current board is a 7'0 that had the tail chopped off, so now it's a 5'9. Its been the perfect board for learning, but when I try to ride waves it's way too big. Just too wide and too much nose. It catches too much wind coming up the face, and the rails catch the water too often. Multiple people have told me it's time to go smaller, haha. I've got a 4'8 39L prone I've been wanting to try, but we just don't get enough good wind for it. I could see me using it on those good days where everything comes together, but those are rare.

Where does a guy go in Hawaii to get axis -1 shims 3D printed for cheap?
Yes, I'm looking for a half dozen -1 shims. If anyone has a 3D printer and wants to make and mail me some, please send me a message.

I ordered some of these off Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000UVXVZ0?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

But since shipping to Hawaii takes forever, and my knees were already beat up, I used PonoBill's method and cut the sleeves off an old wetsuit top, cut the wrists off, and slid those over the knees. Worked just fine, just needed adjustments after falling.

knee pads! They'll save you during your beginner stages.  But wetsuit works too!

If you liked this, I recommend listening to the RadioLab podcast episode: Octomom

F-One swing, I only use the front handle and furthest back of the 2 back handles. Leading edge handle I use if I'm fully depowered trying to ride a wave.  I only use the forward one of the 2back handles, middle handle, when I miss grab while doing a jibe... But I'm no expert, that's just what feels comfortable.

Yup, been loving the 90 for winging. I've got an 82cm mast that I got from Dwight. Pretty sure he bent a 90, and cut it down to get it straight again. I'll be using it for prone foiling bigger waves this winter. Was using it for winging for a bit, then decided to go to the 90 and love the extra couple inches.
