Here are the 2013 msrp prices for the models you asked about:
14' Bullet w. steering, DCC: $3299 14' Bullet no steering, Tuff- Wood: $1999 14' Bullet no steering, SCC: $2499
12'6 Bullet TWCC: $1899 12'6 Bullet SCC: $2399
16' F-16: $3599 (DCC, ASS)
Thanks for the cost breakdown BPS! Very reasonable considering the prestige of the brand and the quality of the boards. I don't know if you, or anyone for that matter, has had an opportunity to try out or check out the difference between the TWCC and the SCC constructions. But do you have anymore information on the differences between how the two constructions will differ once on the water? I'm assuming the wood will be slightly heavier and more durable? And the carbon more stiff? Would it be fair to compare it to Naish and their AST and wood constructions on the older Glides (that's what I ride now and the AST has held up great and I don't notice any increased weight over the wood). Thank you!

Here is the SIC catalog in .pdf format: http://www.standuppaddlesurf.net/images/2013-SIC-Full-Catalog.pdf
The production boards will be available on the mainland early 2013, prices are about the same as 2012, I have a price list, lmk which models you are interested in and I can post the msrp.
Wow awesome catalog. I love their boards - riding the F16 was a revelation. Can you PM me or post the prices of the Bullet 12' and 14' in all 3 constructions? Thank you!

I watched Mark race his Standamaran in the Maui to Molokai in April - honestly can't imagine riding it in heavy downwind conditions like that. He did really well on it too, got 2nd place in SUP behind Livio who was on a Bullet.
The board looked awesome in person - I imagine it would just fly in flat water!

Like many experienced paddlers who scroll through 68 pages of reviews, I was a bit skeptical. How could this new paddle on the market improve upon the proven and time tested manufacturers? Well, I ordered a Ke Nalu Maliko 100Flex to find out. In short - I love it. The Ke Nalu Maliko is exactly how each and every member has described it before me. It is not a gigantic leap forward, instead my new Maliko is just so clean at the catch, so comfortable, so light, and very powerful. My previous paddles included the big names elite paddles and this is by far the best paddle I have used from any of them. The thickness of the shaft is perfect (*cue "that's what she said) for my hand size and the swing weight is so light. It has NO flutter. It is currently 11.5" above my head, I'm going to take an inch and a half off to bring it down to 82" and it will be just right. Great job Pono - I should've ordered one sooner It would've been great to have for the Maui to Molokai, I guess there's always next year.

WOW - excellent footage, music, and editing! It's great how it's split up in 3 parts. Felt like I was out there with you! Thanks for putting the time (and seasickness) in for making these!
It's awesome to see the battle mid channel and Livio catching them. The most impressive part of all was watching Connor's final sprint around the buoy to the harbor entrance to the finish...the side-wind finish is brutal after 27+ miles and he's just sprinting away like he did 3 hours earlier at the start.

Just found this video on YouTube of the race - conditions look even windier and bigger than the MCKC race this year, insane!!

Alright I finally gave in - ordered a Maliko w/ 100 flex shaft. I'll post an in-depth review and maybe a few pictures as well when I get it dialed in. Looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about Pono

Wow! Thanks for the awesome pictures HM - those are incredible! The conditions look fantastic - very similar to the MCKC one in April, it makes me wonder how often this channel fires so well.
Why did Dave Kalama and MR enter as Amateurs?

HM - Fantastic write-up on the event! A real treat to read and picture the conditions - it is a very humbling channel. I can't wait to see the footage! Did witnessing the race on the boat increase your desire to do the crossing on a board?

"PAILOLO CHANNEL- SATURDAY: East winds to 25 kt. Wind waves 10 to 11 ft. Swell east 3 ft."
Looks perfect for race day. Did you get the boat lined-up?

My experience in getting an escort boat on Maui was difficult - loads of them are on Oahu. I lucked out and got an awesome Captain and crew, they came from Oahu though and they said they wouldn't beat against the seas coming from Oahu over to Maui again. Sending you a PM with an escort boat service that might be worth a shot.
As you know I just did the Maui to Molokai for the first time this April. I would advise doing whatever you can to get a boat lined up since it's your first time doing a crossing like this. There were over 150 participates (mostly canoes) in the water and dozens of support boats for my race, but after 30 minutes I rarely saw anyone - we all spread out and with the conditions it is literally impossible to spot other people. The triple crown won't have nearly the amount of people out their to help you if you get in trouble.
However, if you can't line up a boat. Don't let it stop you. It was the most exciting 4 hours of my life and I wouldn't give up the memory of that event for anything. 1paddle2paddle is spot on with equipment - EPIRB is an absolute necessity if you do it solo. And a VHF Radio.
I can't wait to hear how the crossing goes ... one week from tomorrow! Prepare for the glides of your life - Long range forecast points towards very good conditions.

Nice 360 - so when I get a Ke Nalu paddle i'll be supporting Pono's F458 fund?

Man hearing that makes it hard to wait to do this...I'm getting way to excited for this and it's still 6 months out for me. At least the escort boat will be going downwind for the most part, they can tuck behind the west Maui mountain wind shadow for the majority of the way back, or at least that's what we'll tell them...haha
