Hey, Does anyone have finish issues with tuflite boards ? 2 of my sup boards and 1 of my surf boards have developed tiny bubbles in the finish,
mostly on the rails on the sup and some on the mid section of the deck the surfboard. they don't seem to have any affect on performance , but they get bigger and bigger. My boards always get rinsed with freshwater, lightly dried and never left out in the sun for prolonged periods . I have to say that I am on a first name basis with one of the reps and he is really helpful with this issue and very professional. The company has replaced two boards , but the same bubbles appear within a few weeks or months. Is it possible to repair this finish or should i just deal ? Thanks for your help. Sorry if this is an inappropriate subject or in the wrong forum. 288

Gear Talk / Re: Wetsuit gloves: 5 finger vs. Claw« on: March 17, 2010, 04:09:40 PM »
Hey, I live in the north east and paddle and surf year round too. For me any claws feel funny and i have a hard time gripping a paddle. I've found that Dakine Neo mitts,
Glacier gloves seem to work well. Also Mystic dry gloves are nice but kinda slippery. They are designed for gripping a boom ,so if you wrap your paddle they work well . cool pic by the way ! 291
Downwind and Racing / flatwater board« on: March 17, 2010, 08:04:01 AM »
Glad to be here. Thinking of getting a used race board for my brother ... any feedback on either the Hobie 12'6 or the Ohana ? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hey,I agree with DJ. For me it depends on the application. For waves I'm wearing nothing or boots. However I do a lot of distance and after a few hours my feet are killin me.I've used a lot of products and found my favorites are either: Zoot TRI sneakers(super lightweight, sockless and great support.)Or New Balance 920 or 820 water sneakers ( light, great drainage and support) You can find these at almost any running store or on Zappos.com Hope this is helpful.FMS
