Thanks for the info.We heard about them as an option just today so we'll look them up.Any # or email for them?We would appreciate your take on their work and turn around time when your board is done. Our regular guy has moved on to larger projects.

Wondering if anyone knows a place to get board repairs in the Vancouver area?

We take the door key out of the fob and get spares cut.Any hardware or key cutter should be able to handle it.They are usually very common inexpensive blanks. The fob can then be tucked away in the vehicle.Put the spares in your board shorts or on a lanyard.Too easy.
I forgot to mention that we do the same for all our rental vehicles and have not had any problems.

I find it interesting that more people don't just ignore the lifeguards. I'm not saying that the sups should invade Old Man's but if we are north of the "permitted" zone, without a proner within 50yds or more, why not just stay there? As a single it may be difficult but if there are half dozen or more what can they do? The more sup'ers "rebel" the more others will join the movement  and the lifeguards really have no way to enforce the rule. Surfing there the last couple of weeks,I was never in a hurry to move south and sometimes just stayed where I was. So did others. No one said anything to me.

Google the account of the Duke's mile long ride in 1917. It isn't just one break but a series of breaks that we're surfed regularly in Waikiki.

Hey,thanks Bill.I saw you on the water that day,a week ago.Actually my wife said hello out on the water.I was a little absorbed,if you know what I mean,to get a chance to give a nod. Finally got dialed in and caught some nice waves.Great session in the end.Was surprised to see we were out over 4hrs in the end.Time moves very fast when there is no time to lose focus.
