Foil SUP / Nosara Tips?

Headed down to Nosara Costa Rica next week for about 10 days (9th-19th) for a family thing. Any tips or spots I should definitely foil? Feel free to DM me directly. Im going to reach out to the Blue zone people as well. Anyone else going to be in that area at that time?

Foil SUP / Removing stuck go foil adapter

Just wanted to hear methodologies for removing go foil adapters. I got a new carbon one and want to switch out. I’ve seen the wood method



But checking to hear about anything else. I put the water based wd-40 on it, but it’s been a few months so I’m expecting a fight.

Selling a never-used Maliko 280 wing and case. Literally has never touched water. (If the post is still up, its still available.)

Description from site:

Bought this back in November. Word on the street is that Go Foil has gotten a bit more modular and this SHOULD fit most recent masts and fuselages. You can also sand or add shims apparently. Obviously you are welcome to test the fit before purchase.

Doing advanced math on the go foil site leads me to believe that, brand new, this wing is worth $750. I’m knocking $150 off that and holding FIRM at $600. Again, never touched water.

Located in west La but Im also at San O, and Mondos a lot.

Foil SUP / L.A. Area foil board repair

Posted about this in a different thread but thought I would make it it's own topic. Blew the tracks out of the bottom of my board (L41 tv dinner with tuttle and tracks pre-installed) and want to make sure I take it to someone who will build it back just as strong. Any reccs for LA area?

Ripped out of the track and went to the bottom of the ocean. I assume it’s another donation to king Neptune but just in case anyone comes across it. All black takuma type shape with L41 markings

Foil SUP / Big guys: What foils are you riding?

Im 6'5  270ish and have been on a Takuma type foil but think I need to go bigger. Curious about some of the new larger wings that are coming out. Anybody have experience with the Naish XL, the new big Slingshot or any others? Would go GoFoil but the inability to switch out wings for when it gets bigger (unless I buy everything at once) has me hesitant...

Hey everyone...

long time lurker here. definitely interested in getting a foil board. Currently riding a 10'6 by 32ish SUP atx for surf. Im wondering what boards bigger guys are riding when foiling. Im 6'5 270.  Ive been surfing for 20 + years and started supping a couple of months ago on a 12 ft board and already stepped down....

Im right thinking 9 or 9'6 in a simmonsy type shape and then putting a deep tuttle in.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!
