I am pretty sure I see one of my old boards in that stack. What can I do?

What I see is a few pro’s get involved, flash some cool pictures around. The kooks go crazy. You know who you are.

I guess it’s not much of a spectator sport.

So we had two foilers. Now we’re down to one. Haven’t seen him for a few days. Must be a Hawaiian thang.

One year at the Jalama Shootout it was big and the wind was funky. 18 masts broken that day. I was lucky and got a couple of waves and came in second in the senior men’s division.

Pretty sure that’s what they call “ Island Fever”.

I have a couple of good friends that are ER doctors. They both say that mountain bike accidents pay their bills.

So, those waves are a daily occurrence on the central coast of California. Actually they’re a bit better because we would have way more offshore winds. OK, today was a bit smaller but with 35 mph straight offshore, not so much fun. So the water here was today was 53 degrees. Been there done that lot’s of times. Having a board you can duck dive in those conditions is like day and night. Yes you can do it on a paddle board. But why would you if you can still surf? If you can’t surf for some reason, a high performance boogie board would be awesome.

A couple of things that make mountain biking a lot safer are a remote seat dropper button on the handlebars and platform peddles. A truism of biking is that if you ride, you WILL fall.

Lot’s of custom windsurfing boards just had two bolt holes to accept the chinook two bolt mount. Seems like that would be much simpler. Mast tracks present lot’s of other problems.

Wow. I wouldn’t even think about a reply. The Babcock’s have it covered. Right?..

Nice video. It did make me wonder. If you have as much talent as those guys riding the “High Performance” SUP’s, why not prone surf. It’s obvious those boards are still way to floaty. Way more fun on a surfboard. The long boarding was awesome though. Just my two cents. YMMV !

Just wondering if anybody on Maui got the Nuke Warning. What a way to start the day.

Good comments on living on Maui. I pretty much use the same stuff when convincing my friends that living on Maui is awesome. Just so they keep the Ohana open for guests!....
