Thanks for the review, VB_Foil. I have a 5m A series Glide that I really like, and also am very happy with my 7m CWC for light winds (for me, an average of 10/11 mph wind with an Axis 1050 is the point where winging is fun on sound chop).
So if anyone can do a comparison of the 7m Glide and the 7 or 8 m CWC for lighter winds, I would really love to see it -- Thanks!

Thanks all for your input. I decided on the 7m Strike CWC and just purchased it. Ships out on Tuesday. It helped seeing a CWC u To the CWC fans; are there any tips or upgrades I should consider? Will I need a special adaptor for my pump?
I'm also a big 7m CWC fan. It should come with the F1 pump adapter, and the valve seems complex but works really well. . I find that a harness is really essential for this wing -- it really pulls on your arms going upwind but stays incredibly stable when hooked in. I also recommend always checking that the dump valve on the strut is closed before pumping/winging (please don't ask how I learned this). My wind check tip: if the wind can hold the 7m horizontal (about 11-12 mph for me) then there is enough to get on foil fairly easily with an Axis 1050 wing (I think abut 1500cm^2) -- if it starts to droop at the end of the strut, it is more challenging to get up.

I've been happy with the Ride Engine harness with an NSI plastic hook. I thought it might be a pain in the ass to take on and off with three separate belts, but it actually takes about 20 seconds and the adjustment is easy and it stays put where you adjust it. No drawbacks that I've experienced. I hook my board leash to a rope strung across the back with a quick release (and still use a wrist leash for the wing).
I've been using F1 harness lines attached with kite pigtails to handles on OR wings, and to the built-in attachments on an F1 CWC. Has worked fine for me. And I love having a harness to cruise upwind.

Whoops -- thanks for marking this for me! Hope you get the wind to use them soon!

Improved technique and (especially) having a 7 meter F1 CWC have allowed me to foil in lighter winds, which I am really enjoying. However, I find that if the wind is light enough that I have to pump the wing like crazy to get on foil, it is really hard for me to jibe without the wing collapsing against me before I can get it to attach flow on the new tack. I know this is because I am going close to the same speed as the wind as I head directly downwind – I just don’t know what to do about it. Trying to aggressively push the wing to the new side has not worked. Best I’ve done is to try to pump the foil through sharp turns at relatively low speeds, but that hasn’t always worked. Grateful for any solutions or advice – thanks!!!

+1 for the 7m CWC -- gets on foil in 3-4 mph less than my 5m wing, feels relatively light in the hands, and it also slogs really well slightly upwind when there's not enough wind to get back to the launch on foil. Very happy with it.

Axis BCS 1060 front, 400 freeride rear, short red fuse, ultrashort red fuse, and mounting hardware. Great rig to learn and progress for wingdinging – I’ve moved on to the Axis black fuse wings, but this rig got me through jibing and foot switches and was really fun and easy to use. Everything in good shape – 1060 has a few scratches sanded down. $675 shipped in the US. My experience mirrored Pono Bill's comments above -- I used Gil kneepads when learning to get up, and they worked OK but were difficult to keep centered over my knees. Once my incompetence level dropped, they have not been needed.
