I own one of his infused surfboards. Awesome! No foil boards that I know of.

I also started on the M 200, have the GLs and NLs. I'm 210lb riding gut-less Texas surf and my go to is the NL220 but when the surf firms up I'll ride the NL190. I really like how they turn and sometimes I can pump up on foil after a small wave passes me and drop in from behind. Go NL.

All went south two months ago on a wing when a tired geezer blew a jibe. Fractured Tibia, torn Meniscus and sprained MCL. Hoping to return soon but without the foot straps. 50+ years in water sports and this is the worse I've experienced....but, I'm hooked

Where I live I use the 7m most of all.Takoon tested highly here: After three month wait, I received an email this morning that my Takoon 7 has shipped. Yay! At 215lbs and lack of skill, I was unable to get the F-One 6m going at 8 knots, Gong 9m will get me flying at 8 knots. Will see if this 7m Takoon will get me going at that speed. 42

Sadly, I was not sailing this day. We had to prepare the beach house for the possibility of the storm hitting us and depart before a mandatory evacuation was called. I never want to sit in evacuation traffic for 18 hours again! 43

Doug,
I'm 215 lbs and lacking in experience but I'll share a session I had. 6-11 mph using a Maliko 280 with 18" wide stab. Pumped up on foil amazingly easy but constantly had to focus on going upwind...pumps through the lulls. Switched to the GL 210 which was more work to fly but improved upwind and speed making the sail a joy to fly. I went without a harness and after two hours I could no longer hold on. Glad I own one for desperado times and bad forecasts. 44
