Miami area is great for winging and warmth. Key Biscayne has several locations with flat water and waves to choose from. Miami beach does also.

I'm using the DW boards and the hybrid 6'4 as well. I can flat water paddle up the 6'4 with the 1310 and the 8' is pretty easy to pop up onto while the 8'6 is easy enough for my first time customers to be able to pop up on their first session. The carbon wrap is pretty durable but I keep it in the bag when in the truck.

The high modulus is worth it. Plus the 1201 works so much better on the high modulus for your weight. I never get any wobble from my high modulus while using the 1300. I dock start, sup, surf, down wind, and foil drive the 1300 with zero issues.

I've been using my 4'6 37 liter prone with the foil drive and 1300, best no wind almost no swell activity. Also great to start in flat water to practice pump technique.

Axis isn't going to disappoint with the 1201. I was more of a HPS fan over the arts due to better low end stall and working on crappy conditions like current against swell but, now with the new 1201, it's so hard to get off that shape. I'll have a few set ups for demo in Florida.

I got the 5 meter strike V3 and sold it after 2 days of use. The good stuff about it. Very fast up wind and great air time. Rotations for flakka type tricks were super easy. Great drift in waves even with Windsurf Harness line on handles. The stuff I didn't like, wing tips wanted to go under the nose of my board on every water start. The wing wasn't as balanced as past F1 wings meaning the wing tips would want to drop towards the water rather than float. Heavy turning in waves, so even though the tail of the wing would stay up, turning required forcing the wing out of the way. Low end was ok but not as good as many other wings on the market. My overall feeling for this wing is that it's a very nice upgrade of you're on strike V2's but I would recommend this for lighter riders in windier conditions. Oh yeah and the handles, if they made them just one more rib wider, I might of kept the wing.

I had an E3 105 liter and it worked fine with the Axis foils. If you're using Armstrong or an advance fuselage then the tracks will be too far back for you to use the foot straps.

The 1300 is a great light wind foil, more low end than the 1060 with great glide. I do recommend it on a high modulus mast. It's not going to win any races for the size of it so I wouldn't take it out in high winds unless you want to use a 2.5 meter and have endless glides. I've also really like it for sup foiling, you can carve with a wing tip out of the water and keep riding. Putting the progressive 475 on it also helps with the turning and lets it fly at nice speed and pump easily.

For dock the short fuselage and crazy short in the waves. I cab get away with the 1310 on a short fuselage in the waves if I have the 475 rear but I'll lose the tighter turns that the crazy short gives.

I find I like the 475 progressive in the waves and the 460 flat off the dock.

I just got my 1310 and it's a ton of fun. Great sup foiling in small waves but can handle a lot of speed if the waves get bigger. On dock starts, it's a blast. More glide than the 1150. I'm still dialing in what rear works best for me, so far the 475 has been great. The foil works great on the carbon. The 1310, is doable on a metal mast of you're a light rider. If you're heavy then you're flexing mast and loosing power and glide.

Get your speed up some, you might need to pump the foil a little bit so that you can get in front of the wing. Think to keep the wing at your back hip and then you can steer up wind as the wing pushes you from behind. You'll eventually be able to lean against the leading edge as you go up wind.

We're going to go do dock starts and then if the wind comes up, hit viento or event site
