One of my surfboards has developed a tiny crack at the end of one of the foil tracks. It looks like the plastic box is ready to start pulling out. I caught it early and it's just the paint that's cracked.
I'm wondering what's the best way to go about fixing it. Could I just cut around the plastic fin box, remove it, glue it back in and add some glass layers over the top? Was also thinking just drilling some holes close to that area and injecting 8LB density urathane foam, then a glass layer over the whole thing?
thnx

Could someone please share the bolt spacing on the GoFoil Pedestal? I'm wondering if other wings could be compatible; perhaps with light modifications.
Thanks!

Anyone seen the INFLATABLE Hypernut board in person yet? Looks intersting, though I wish it had a windsurf attachment point. Wouldn't mind one to easily throw in the car for the days where I don't want to drag the rigid one. The attachment points in their video look a little strange and there aren't any closeups. https://youtu.be/Lh_2qeGovyI?t=106Only pic other than the video I can find. Some other inflatable's I know of below. Any I'm missing? I'm sure they're not that great but I'm not exactly doing any SUP-foling either. Seems like I'm just paddling around with a foil attached to the bottom of my board. Might as well do it conveniently. F-One has an inflatable sup/wind/foil convertible but it's listed as regular Tuttle, not deep: http://www.f-onesup.com/Products/MATIRA/Produit/MATIRA-7-11-light-weightMantafoils has an inflatable sup/wind/foil convertible: https://www.mantafoils.com/e-shop/170-Inflatable-SUP-Windfoil-board-p99470283Found another pic of the Hypernut attachment but it's red. Wonder if this ever made into production?

Any thoughts on the structural integrity of the mount plate if I were to drill extra spacing holes in the GoFoil plate adapter? I'd like to be able to move the foil further back than the spacing allows. I was thinking of something similar to the Slingshot plate mount. I don't think the holes would cause too much issues. Should I countersink it or just leave straight holes for more support?

Could use a Kai wing for my riding style. Just custom fitted a Nalu wing for kiting on my GoFoil but it's a tad bit too small for my preference unless the wind picks up. The Iwa's my go to in super light wind but it's just a tad too big when the wind picks up. Would love a Kai wing. Could also use the small rear stab, the red one, if anyone has one they want to get rid of. I can modify the wings to fit my fuse.
My apologies if this should have been posted in the for-sale section. Foiling's still in such early stages I figured this would be the best spot to find someone with one.
Thanks!

Is there anyone with multiple wing sets for the Go Foils who likes to change them out often? Does changing between wings loosen up the wing to fuselage interface over time? Does it get sloppy? Seeing the below video by Aguera on YouTube concerns me having to hammer the crap out of the wings every session. I take my foils apart to transport and wash them. Love the single bolt and fuse/mast combo but having to hammer to change wings makes me resoncider getting a multiple set. https://youtu.be/Bl6_7dennMs?t=104

I was wondering what the opinion is on paddle length with a foil? GoFoil FAQ says "You can use a longer paddle but it is not absolutely necessary. Kai Lenny in his videos so far is using his regular length paddles." Do you find that your current length paddle is sufficient enough or would you prefer a longer paddle?

Any thoughts on the smallest waves that are possible to SUP foil on? I've seen the video of Austin Kalama foiling in flat water but that's not exactly my skill level or will ever be.
I'm talking calf high light wind generated waves in the far East of the FL panhandle. There's no real currents here and the closest rideable waves start about 3hrs west towards Panama City. I've kite foiled these tiny waves here and there's definitely a slight push from them that I could feel.
Any videos of the smallest SUP foilable waves? Kite foiling has me riding in crazy light winds, wondering how crazy small one can get a foil to SUP-foil surf on?

I picked up a Kona One a few months ago and gave it a try as a SUP. I have a Bic Jungle Wind that I've used as a crossover for about a year but wanted something with a retractable daggerboard that could plane. The Bic never planes like the Kona One or a short board but it is absolutely AMAZING to sail in low wind and waves. After getting on the Kona with a paddle I noticed that it just wasn't tracking straight. With every stroke it would spin out in the opposite direction. I tried it with a 32/38/46cm fins and they all did the same. The Bic tracks 100x better as a SUP than the Kona; with a 28cm fin. I could get a few strokes in on the Bic on either side before it would start to turn a little but the Kona just spins. I understand the Kona's is an actual sailboard but is there something that could help me keep it straight other than lowering the daggerboard? Technique? I thought I tried different strokes but it was so disappointing that I just went back to shore and stuck a 9.5m sail on it. thnx

I'm thinking of doing some touring/sailing with my Bic Jungle Wind SUP around the coast here. So I was thinking that I could bring a paddle that fits into a backpack with me and de-rig the sail to a SUP in case the wind died or something happened that I would have a quicker way to get back to the beach and/or up/down the coast.
Can anyone recommend a paddle that would collapse into a backpack? Or what the smallest possible paddle is? I guess I could derig and use one of the mast half's as the paddle shaft and just bring the blade. Any thoughts?
thanks
