I will never use brass nut's after a few of mine had crack and split. I now use steel nut by foil mount and they also make brass version that maybe I might use someday.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I’m very curious about the boards with the recessed decks, i.e. the Freedom Skillet and the boards from 52foilco. I’m uncertain that the deck will drain water quickly but I would imagine it helps paddling stability.

I'll post soon as I'm about to test a secret recessed deck foil board

Good eye!  That looks like the Robert Teriitehau branded foil:

He breaches the tips quite often without crashing, has me wondering if it's the design or his advanced strapped riding skills?

Yeah, I wanna see more of that TR foil clay 

From what I see gong is the only company pushing and testing all sorts of design and released in the market instantly as others keep under wrapped and slow and probably because their too big and too much internal red tape.

Buoys were 9ft@ 13 seconds but the energy was peeling off on the outside in the wind.  It was 6 to 7 feet on the inside with ZIPPY takeoffs that would fade quickly.   

I was testing out the new GoPro 8.  I was worried there was constantly water on the lens BUT it appears to clear itself up mid-ride.

The speed down the line left is pretty cool.  GoFoil 210 GL Narrow Tail 7' 4" L41 board with Tuttle Base (reinstalled 3 times)

High speed, hard crashes and painful wacks but the reward is like hang on and enjoy the ride, woohoo!
