I'm thinking a simple glass patch will seal it up for paddle surfing. But for me replacing tracks seems like another level of repair.
I'd probably just jam in one of Blue Planets foil boxes. Not that hard to do and completely bomb proof. https://www.blueplanetsurf.com/foil-strongbox.html

Actually all these email addresses and her phone number are legitimately in the public domain. They should remain unredacted in order to preserve the public record and keep the public informed on who the players are and how to contact them. Doxxing is definitely not cool, but when the info is freely available via FOIA request there's no reason to delete it form another public forum.

They're REALLY good at punching holes in your feet, legs, and wing. General consensus on my beach is that the front foils are awesome and the rest of their kit is crap. Theres a big thread over on Seabreeze about it and guys are using adapters to run their foils on whatever other mast/fuze setup they have.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to sell the board and downsize anyway, so I don't really need to go to a ton of trouble installing new tracks. I'm mostly wondering if I should buy the 2022 Fanatic or look further. Maybe I'll just use this one Till DW starts taking orders again.

I'm currently on a 95l 2021 Sky wing. I love most every aspect about the board except for the weight and the mast track placement. For Armstrong foils even with the mast all the way forward and the screws flipped my back leg is getting gassed. For 2022 they mentioned that they moved the mast tracks "slightly" forward. I'm thinking about grabbing the 75l pre-preg version, but am wondering if the I'm going to run into the same issue with not enough forward adjustment.
Has anyone tried the new version with an Armstrong foil and/or compared it to the 2021 version to see where the tracks are?

Ditto, 2x4's and some galvanized pipe I had laying around. I put pipe insulation on the pipes to provide cushion for the boards and make it easier to slide them out without scratching.

Yeah, he would have been just fine if he didn't dig the nose. Two steps back and he would have been a watermelon seed.

I actually think it's more akin to curling.
Now that's the comment of the day!
Except that in Olympic curling the loser has to buy the beer after the match. Not sure there's that same level of awesome in SUP.

It really depends on how small you can live with. A friend was in the same boat recently and wound up going with a 5th wheel. It's what I would go with too, get to where you're going, park it, and you still have a truck to run errands and do day trips in. And my wife can't live without a proper shower. https://www.granddesignrv.com/showroom/2018/toy-hauler/momentum

Any reviews by people that have ridden both boards? There are one of each up for sale that I'm looking at putting a foil on. Both are 7'4" and 105-6L. FWIW I'm 88kg (195lb in old money) and currently paddle a Speeed at 112l and 27 3/4 wide so I think the stability will be OK.

Great shots, looks like a perfect SUS wave. Biggish, but mushy. I really want one of the Gooru vests, but it seems like they only sell the kite version in the UK. WTH?!?

Never was a time when I couldn't. Parents took me to the pool and dumped me in the ocean before I was 1. A couple years on swim team when I was little and currently do 3/4 - 1.5 mile ocean swims 3-5 times a week for fun depending on work schedule. Not really sure on a numerical scale, but I guess I'm about as good as any non open water racer out there.
