Foil SUP / Possible foiling banned in the U.S.

Has anyone else heard the rumour that foiling could be banned or limited to specific areas due to the danger to other water users ? I heard it in Ca.
 It’s a kinda left field rumour but it does have some substance in that foiling is globally and exponentially popular and has few constraints on its useage.
 There’s very few injuries but there is a small scare factor with the mast and wings.

Gear Talk / UNiversal Fin Box.

Tired of choosing between FCS and Futures fins ?
 Well now there’s a Universal fin box that can take both.
 Thanks to my incredible ingenuity and a few friends, you can download the file, print them out, and now swap and mix any kind of fin with a base including glass-ons.

Foil SUP / Where to mount a foil.

Having put in a few hundred foils on a range of shortboards, Longboards, prone and SUPs heres the why and where.
 The why is to put the foil at an angle that doesnt push or drag when you're paddling, so this doesn't apply to tow in boards., kites, sailboards.
 On most surfcraft there's a 3 stage rocker with a Slightly flatter section under your COG so it's serendipitous that it's right under your feet and also the flattest rocker area.
 With adjustable foils you can move the foils fore and aft so there's no exact point, more of an area that better than the others.
 Easiest way to check is a straight edge along the stringer., if you mark the hull, then stand on the board in your stance and mark the deck, you'll see they're damn close.
 And based on the general similarities of surfcraft design which is linked to the rider position it tends to be in the same area on most boards but further forward as the board lengthens. The shorter the mast the more important the position so flatter rocker boards allow for more flexibility.
 With adjustable foils, different designs and adjustable foil AOAs it changes the position and the stance.
 Remember it's an area, not a point.

Pick up a bargain, slightly used !
 How sad is this, a great foil going for 1/2 price or OBO.
 Buy it, rip on it and then send Chuck pics of how much fun you're have having !
 Yeah I know he could be selling it to save his sick grandma, but he says it's because he's clearing out junk.
 What an absolute bargain !!
