i made something like this for myself last month. figured when my board comes down on my head it would take the sting out a bit...
when it is windy and overhead i like a helmet.
if you have ever been clocked by a SUP that got rocketted you would know why...

just tie a piece of velcro to your leash midway and stitch the other side of the vecro tape to your boardshorts...voila.

Works like a charm. Never lost my shorts once yet

Some days I feel I can do nothing wrong. Other days nothing right.
This is also true in the surf.
What mental tricks do people use on those days when you feel like you are NOT in the ZONE? Those days when you are always in the wrong position for the wave...afraid to commit for the steep lip...

Equipement is the key, you want an easy slow safe wing.

I installed some Futures Rasta Quad on my JL SG.
Not quite used to the feel yet. The profile is pretty much the same as the OEM. but they are much faster down the line, and turn a tad less easily. Speed Is what i was looking for I guess but...

Have some quad fins that need some love to the leading edge. The fins in question are JL glass with honeycomb. damage is about 1/8-1/16 inch.
Any recomendations on how to repair gauges?
