Regional / 3 spots left in my Deception Pass tidal currents SUP class Saturday

howdy,
I知 doing a 4hr SUP tidal rapids training class at Deception Pass (WA) on Saturday, there痴 3 spots left. Give me a holler if interested. Cost is $250 per person. More class info and a pic here, http://salmonbaypaddle.com/ This is a great class for learning how to paddle rivers.
We値l launch from Cornet Bay to enter the Pass at slack tide with minimal current. As the flood current slowly builds so will your confidence. By the time the flood hits max current at 1:30pm you値l feel solid in fast moving current. You値l also experience rich marine life, the amazing canyon views of the Pass, and I hear the weather is supposed to be sunny. I can provide boards, paddles, leashes and some immersion gear. DP is 1.5 hrs north of Seattle. You must be comfortable paddling on flat water to take the class (or take my Basics and Beyond 101 course prior).
I値l cover:
-Understanding tidal currents, eddies, reading water, hazards, safety, etc.
-Learn how to peel out of an eddy into current then re-enter the eddy.
-Learn how to ferry across current.
-Learn about Deception Pass, how it works, how to take advantage of the current, where to find surfable standing waves and as well as protected water.
