Hello everyone! I'm thinking about getting a three-piece, so I'm looking for input on any brands you might have used. I like the Werner Trance, but I'm open to all suggestions. I'd also like to hear your opinions on three-piece paddles in general. Are they wobbly? Strong? I need one that is length adjustable, so around 70-77, like the Werner. Thanks!

Has anyone heard much about the new Werner paddle? I hope it won't be so great that I have to replace my Nitro!

I have a job pending at the OBX Hospital in Nag's Head, but I need a place to live out there. Do any of you have some contacts on the Banks that might be able to help me out?

I'm fairly new to SUP, doing recreational paddling on lakes, no surfing. I have a 10'x30" board, and I'm 5'4. I bought a Werner Nitro M paddle, and I like it, but I could exchange it for a Nitro S if I want to. The M is 97 sq inches (19x7.25) and the S is 85 sq inches (17.5x6.75). What do you folks think about this?

I might be moving down there for a job at Carteret General Hospital, and I've only been there (to Salter Path) for vacations. Any input about living there will be very appreciated!

Hi everyone. I'm thinking about moving back to Seattle, but I need some info on SUP and kayaking up there. Back in the day, we'd swim in Lake Washington, but the warm window was very small. I don't think I'd want to go out on Lake Union (still nasty, right), but the Sound and LW for sure. Are wetsuits needed year-round? How much warm paddling weather has there been over the past few years? I have a flatwater kayak and a Red Paddle board, and I of course have NO cold weather/water paddling gear!
Any thoughts or advice or data will be appreciated!

Can anyone share their opinions on these? I actually have a roof rack on my car, but if a soft rack is just as good, I'd like to the other one off. Looking for opinions, thoughts, suggestions..... Thanks!

This is on my mind, but more so now due to the "does having to pump up inflatable ever deter going out" thread, since that has morphed into an iSup offshore safety question. What are people's thoughts on inflatable pfds, and which ones are recommended? There are the beltpack pfds that, when inflated, can be worn like a regular pfd, then there are the ones that just create an air pillow over your abdomen, with a strap that goes around your neck. I'm going to get one of the beltpack pfds, but which one? Which brand is better, and which style?

I'm looking for a nice bag for my Werner Nitro. I'd like a bag that is somewhat adjustable in length. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Does anyone have any experience with this this cargo net? I'm wondering if it fits the 10' Surfer, and if it functions well. Is it snug to the board when not in use? Worth the money? Thanks for your input....

I just want to share the names of these fantastic people who helped me get a new Red Paddle Co board!
Julian from Green Water Sports is awesome! He has unbelievable patience----many, many emails were exchanged. He is the go-to man here in the US for any of your RPC questions. I finally ended up getting a 2014 10' Surfer from him. I hope it gets here soon! Bill Dawes from The Paddle Company New Zealand, and Gary from SupInflatables UK are both extremely knowledgable and informative. They provided essential advice and clarification----GREAT guys!!!! Holly from airkayaks.com, Allison from iSupworld, and John and Luke from Red were all really helpful.
Julian, Bill, and Gary-----you guys are the kings of the Red Paddle Co world! THANK YOU!

REI has this board on sale for a thousand bucks. I'm ready to get my first board, which will be for everything but whitewater and surfing. At some point I might try a little wave, but I'll mostly be on open, calm-to-choppy water-----lakes, bays, etc. The weight on the board will range from ~145 lbs to 175. Height is 5'4". What do you think about this board? How tough is it? Is that a good price? Any and all feedback is really appreciated.

What is the best adjustable SUP paddle for everything but surfing? Looking for opinions here.......I will paddle mostly on flat water, lakes, bays, etc. I'm looking at the Werner Nitro, but I'd like input about other great paddles. Must be adjustable! Thanks!
