anyone have the Garmin Instinct watch?  when I wing foil I use the windsurfing app and  it has been showing really high max speed readings which I know are not true..yesterday's max speed was 28 knots 32mph. no way that's accurate.

Heard a hissing from my F-One Swing wing  today and when I got to shore I noticed it was leaking badly at the strut inflation hose on one end.  I tried securing it and it stopped the leak for a few seconds and then but just came off..the other end pulled off easily too.  Did these break off or are they glued on and maybe the glue broke down from hot Caribbean weather over the years?

Selling my Cabrinha Mantis 6.2. Perfect condition. Only ridden 3 times. Still crispy, crystal clear windows. Very well built. Comes with bag and wrist leash.  I love my 4m and 5m Mantis, but decided I don't like lighter winds. I was able to foil in 12-14 mph with this wing. I weight 185 90 liter board. In Vero Beach, FL . $400.00 will consider shipping but you pay shipping..

So used to foiling in big swells and chop below my house, I finally went to other side of the island to enjoy some well behaved, relaxing  flat water for a change on Bequia, St.Vincent & Grenadines.

With wing foiling consuming 99% of my time and loving it, a calm day with long period swells got me back on my SUP for the first time in a year.  Had a fun clean session in Melbourne Beach, FL  with friends.  It was a lot of fun, and brought back memories.

General Discussion / Have any of you experienced vertigo?

After 7 straight days of 4m winds and winging like crazy, I have been experiencing vertigo. Awful feeling like a bad amusement ride you can’t get off  I believe I got some water in my ears from wipeouts and probably the cause.

Trying to get a Dr appointment,  but wondering if any of you have experienced vertigo and what did you do about it?

Some really, really strong winds for March in the Grenadines..brought down a 6m expecting to use a lot and haven’t taken it out of the bag.  using my 5m 4m. Could have used 3m if I owned one.  5m Duotone Unit , Jimmy Lewis Flying V, fanatic 1750/300 Aero foil 30 mph winds

Classifieds / Kenalu Paddle blade

Unused Kenalu blade...The bag says Molokai 95 but I am not certain if that is the blade pictured. I have owned many Kenalu paddles over the years and this was bought as a back up for a surf trip. It has been in storage for a few years.   Its X-Tuf version.  It's never been used, but I did tape the edges with electrical tape.

asking $150 plus shipping.

I leave for a trip March 21 so if you want right away it must ship this week or after April 10th

I took advantage of 15% off on 2021 Cabrinha Mantis (with windows) and bought the 5 and 4m from Green hat Kiteboarding.  They are making room for the 2022 model
Used the 5m for first time today and LOVED it.  So light , so powerful and SO efficient compared to my older Duotones.
Pumping this wing it was so responsive and got me up on foil in an instant...   The mini booms work really well and felt comfortable in no time.  Easy transitions on jibes and hand passes. I felt so dialed in right away on this wing and can see what so many people use them.  I don't know what they did to improve it for 2022 aside from major price increase, but I am very happy with the 2021 model and loved the price.

I even managed to get the wing back in the bag first try!!  . But that would be my #1 complaint..the bag sucks.
Also wish it had a dump valve on the strut..

Having a windsurfing background naturally I took to the Duotone Wings. Really like the original and own 4m and 5m.  They weren't best for packing and travel so I also bought Duotone 6m. Great wing, light, powerful but I really miss the confident feel of the boom. With the boom I can jibe without even looking not so with the Unit, I find myself searching and grasping for the handles.  I found the same to be true with my F-One Swing..

Looking at buying a Duotone Slick but also considering the Cabrinha X3 which has "mini booms". I am thinking the Cabrinha might be a nice solution for easy packing and travel but also having the convenience of the boom handles.

Anyone out there used both ? any comments welcome. thanks
