@daswasup - I hear you, thanks.

Wind lightened up so I came in and filmed Mickey:

I would think hard plastic and hard metal will have the same dinging effect on a surfboard, especially a custom.

I can't find my dakine chameleon and have been using the old ozone v1 one size harness and I really don't like how floppy and flexy it is, hooking in doesn't has the same solid feel.

Has a hook that folds 90 degrees been tried?  recessed into a padded layer that will protect the board...  Maybe even have one of those locking type pins on knives to keep it from accidentally collapsing and trapping the harness line...

By the way, I would love to get some underwater action video of this wing to actually see what’s going on down there.  Any ideas as to how this could be accomplished?

I have an idea and a camera, yet to try it, my water is usually to murky and not worth the effort.  Send me an email if you want to know more.

First time I wing foiled on my smallest board I pushed the foil all the way forward and felt out of control.  Then Dwight's comment about a small board loosing it's mind popped into my head.  So I went in and moved the foil back in the tracks, voila it flew normal.  Couldn't understand how that would be possible without experiencing it myself.

I would much rather see comments, even if I don't' like them, then not have any comments.

I read or follow "news" if it has a comments section, I wanna hear what people have to say.

I bought some poor quality gear and the company's videos had comments disabled, red flag for me now.

Uncertain what harness, I would guess the same.

What about ditching the abracadabra and getting the regular plate mount head?

I have ridden other brands double curve/ gull wings.

For me I like a single curve, or a surfboard analogy preferring single concave to double concave.  The feel difference is a seemless transition from rail to rail, whereas with the gull/ double curve wing I feel the transition from one curve to the other.

I was listening to a Thomas Campbell interview on the Water People podcast and he said - did you get the feeling?   Meaning regardless of ride we are after the same feel good sensation of our own personal nirvana of a good ride - stoke!

If Axis came out with curvy wings like this I would be stoked.
Curious as to what you like about the curvy wing tips, and/or the benefit(s) of them.

My experience is the curvy wings have a very fluid and flowy tight banking carving ability that feels fantastic, and much better at tip breaching without ventilating.
