General Discussion / Re: Sunrise Paddle (Paddle for Ray)
« on: January 23, 2020, 06:54:15 PM »
12 miles is a good haul. Next year you can try to make it a little further. And so on. Nice paddle group, good cause, and really pushing yourself. I paddle the harbor at night sometimes. I'll paddle along the outer jetty and it's so black that you can't see your paddle enter the water. You can't even see the surface of the water. Totally paddling by feel. I do wear two small green led lights. I clip one to the back of my hat and one on the side of my PFD belt. I can't see the lights the way I have them attached, but boaters can see me.

This is coming up next weekend..... You should do it. It was my first race over 10 years ago.

Ive already signed up, you going to do it?

Best I could find is 399.00 comes with a few extras, same package was 349.00 at black Friday and Christmas from Best Buys. The 7 black is 329.00 with no extras.

For somebody like myself who almost pulled the trigger last night on the Hero 7 black for 329.00 only because my friend has one and he loves it, says its pretty simple to use. Now the 8 is out which is 399.00 again I'm a total newbie with go pro, which one should I buy?
