hi guys, for 100 euros i bought a unused old go pro. the ones, you have to put aaa batteries inside. plus the surfmounting stuff in an unopened pack. is that a good thing that i did? do you have any advice or good tips for me? i am a complete beginner with go pro.
thanks eddie 10
Gear Talk / just paddled a round with my new crash vest« on: September 18, 2013, 08:24:17 AM »
hi guys, i never owned such a thing. here in germany many people use protective vests, because they are nice and cosy. so i went and bought a ion vector. its really cool, sorry, warm! feels good. i am pretty happy. i really hate, when the cold wind cools my wet chest. that is a good cure. it is comfortable too. later in the waves, it will be good against boards crashing into me.

i can alsomrecommend the 10.65 nalu. i surfed it for a month now in klitmöller. i also dig the really great 11.6 nalu, which rides like dream. its on my shopping list.

i made mysels a surfing shortpaddle too. with a big fat blade. works great. forces you to have softer knees and you havema slightly lower centerof gravity.

Gear Talk / Re: first impressions of my new nalu 10,65 gs on flatwater« on: June 06, 2013, 03:11:50 AM »
three sessions later the beauty of the design slowly starts to work with me. you have to be sensitive about your feet on that board. i am really cuious how it will behave in waves. wish the oceam was a bit closer. aloha, eddie

Gear Talk / first impressions of my new nalu 10,65 gs on flatwater« on: May 30, 2013, 10:24:25 AM »
hi guys,
yesterday i finally got a nalu and today i took the first flatwaterride with that thing. i can tell you that this board trew me into the water many times. on my other boards i could walk around. not on this racehorse. it is really sensitive. guess it will take me a while to master that board. i am very glad i got it two months before i hit the oceanwaves with it. it reacts really strong to weightshifting on the rails. this will keep me entertained for quite a while i guess. aloha, eddie My drum/guitar surfduo: www.captain-twang-and-his-rhythm-cat.de 15
Gear Talk / Re: naish hokua 9,10. opinions please« on: May 27, 2013, 11:50:54 PM »
thanks for the infos. believe it or not, i ordered a 10,65 naish nalu ast. anything else kinda sold out here in germany. the thing that bugged me most about my older board was the thruster fins and it felt very high. i also like the fact, that the nalu has a rounder nose, so it will not dip that deep like my older board. imralls hope the nalu is also bulletproof like the hokua. so far so good, eddie
