Hello friends,
the Stun Gun is a Jimmy development of his Baby Bomb!
The picture with the black mat finish are the PLUG that will be used for make the mold!
The only similarity is the color and the fact that they are a pintail.
The Stun Gun are truster and measurement are totally different same as the volume.
Here is the picture of how the boards will looks like.

We drive quite slow as only go to local beach.. But 50-60 km an hour is still fine!
We did 5 boards stack but now we limit to 5.. We are also not that tall.

Hello friends,
I always see the add that say 4 people + 4 boards = 1 car and I smile as for us is pretty much every day!!!
NO need for special boards just a good Surf Rack and long straps...
Anyone else?

SUP General / Re: shoulder injury?
« on: December 10, 2011, 08:48:10 PM »
Hello friends,
I have been suffering of Shoulder pain for the last 2 months. Lately I switched to a smaller blade size and longer shaft and I'm getting better!
When I started SUP my paddle was a shaka + 1 inch over my head.. Then slowly I started to go shorter and shorter till the point where my paddle was barely over my head. That is when I start to develop pain in my elbows and shoulder!
I only do Wave.

Downwind and Racing / Re: Couple of questions about racing, please help..
« on: December 09, 2011, 09:05:21 PM »
Racing is not my thing thanks...
But I'm puzzled why SUP Racing would be under ISA!!!
I see more similarities with the Canoe/Kayak federation..
That are already present at the Olympics with so many disciplines!
SUP can be played as Kayak K1 (500 meter sprint, 1 or 2 kilometers)etc. etc..
Would be nice to see in the same arena as kayak with the different lanes..
Maybe a relay per Nation (swimming style( and a Long distance in open water!
Just expressing some ideas..

Hello there,
yes you are correct Westerly are On Shore on the west Coast of Bali making in pretty much crappy most of the time.
Sanur is the one that offer the most spot and Nusa Dua normally offer the most waves.
Nusa Lembongan at that time of the year will also be On Shore.
You can find more infos about spot, boards for hire and prices at our web site: www.bali-standuppaddle.org
Just to give you an idea 1 week rental is about 160 US$ include paddle and we have full line up of Jimmy Lewis boards.

Find also many infos and get in touch with the locals at our FaceBook group: SUP Bali
https://www.facebook.com/groups/181379219287/

See you soon in Bali.

Hello there.
sorry no rental that I know of in Surabaya or Flores..
The only places are Bali, Roti, Gili Island Lombok and I think some boat in the Mentawais.
You can rent from us in Bali and take where you want but need to stop by here to pick up and bring back.

Hello there,
if you are looking for the top SUP destination for South East Asia you can't miss Bali..
You can definitely find SUP for hire in Mui Ne, Vietnam.
Also in Thailand in almost every major tourist destination.
In Phuket they get waves during the monsoon season from Mat till October.
Hope this can help.

Gear Talk / Re: Jimmy Lewis Striker 8'11 test report
« on: March 21, 2011, 04:27:57 AM »
Tried the striker 9'5 yesterday. Feel really similar to the 8'11 just bigger and more stable.. For my weight of 70 kilos was too much board!
Would be good for anyone over 95 kilos..
Yes I already replied to you.. Very easy take off, good acceleration, I use on reef waves so it does handle quite sucky waves.

Ciao Aircube,
sorry I don't know about the 9'5.. But I had people quite heavy on the 8'11 and they did quite good. For me at 70 kilos is super stable to paddle..
Take off is very easy and glides quite well.
Today we went SUP in waves about knee to waist high and I still had fun!

I should be able to to a review of the Kwad 8'7 quite soon.
Bye Jankie
