Do they make stick socks for SUPs? I don't like bags.

But there is a twist why I want to HP sup like a short. I had a total hip replacement and I still can't pop up on my little 5'9.. so supping is my only form of surfing right now.

Well said OkiWild!!
Thanks for the feedback! And it is why I sup what you said. My Quatro 8'6 Glide does give that Glide, trim, flow. The first day I supped a solid 4-6' wave I was so blown away by how early I got into waves and way outside... I was not used to that. My wave count was 5 to 1 to most and my waves were longer. I also could paddle way down the beach to try new peaks. Thanks again 5

Wow, thank you for the info. I really appreciate that!
I was thinking maybe an 8'4 (130L, 30" wide) Quatro Carve Pro as my next step down. or a Starboard Pro 8'0 - 29" 121L 6

background- short boarder for 30 years. Been supping now for 5 years and love it.
Currently having fun on the 8'6 Quatro Glide AST using a traditional thruster set (center fin a 4.5" fin). So much fun in 1/2' to 6'. Doing turns, floaters, etc. Looking to go more HP without sacrificing too much stability. I'm 6'0, 195lbs. Any suggesting? Thanks for any feedback/help! 8

Thanks. I did purchase the single fin before I saw your post.
Did you not like them? The sides seem big. I use AM Med in sides now. 9

The Shape Shack / Quatro Glide Fin Set Up help« on: June 15, 2021, 05:38:57 AM »
I'm a shortboarder that has been surfing for 30 years. Due to injury, I have been supping and surprisingly loving it.
I just purchased a Quatro Glide 8'6. I wanted a more lively fin so changed the center fin to a 6" Future Performance. The board went very well but I feel I can get more skatey. I want to try a Future Performance 4.5 center fin. This would make all three fins the same as a traditional thruster.. To little fin for that board? Modify message 11
