Clean snap in the shore break... Paddled it a few times in the bay, but haven't had it out in the surf. Had it repaired by a guy in San Clemente.

Between 5 and 7 spent the last few weeks just 7 miles north of the HB Pier. All were between 4 and 6 feet. OC register did quite a few articles.

After years of endurance racing, I learned that I require huge amounts of salt. I'm a heavy sweater and supplement with straight salt tabs from CVS. Cheap, easy, and I eat them on anything longer than an hour.

SUP General / Re: Lets get another board classification going - this time for the fun of it!« on: March 22, 2014, 08:52:33 AM »
What if we went a different way... Standardize the course length, and use weight classes. For example, ride any board you want !
Courses could be standardized to include X number of turns and lengths of say 5k and 10K, etc. Weight classes could be - Under 100 pounds, 100 to 150, 150 to 200, and over 200... No age class. Overall weight would be used - ( Board, fin, person, PFD, etc) Bathroom scales in the parking lot and officials only need to weight the podium winners. 14

Home Depot carries one. I would be reluctant to use one that is not easy to switch off. I use a compressor for my kites and have to be very careful not to over inflate. HD's is used for blowing off work surfaces.

For authentic Neapolitan pies in So Cal, there's only one spot... Michael's in Naples... Served uncut. Unfortunately, Zagat just rated them the " Best in the USA" , so the crowds have tripled. 1.5 hour wait if you get there during prime time...
