Anyone have a source for the long M8 bolts that Axis uses for their mast to fuse connection?

Looks like he was out there trolling for Cthulhu

I have an old kenalu tuttle mount thats broken on the fuse side. It would be shorter than what you want but with a tuttle plate adapter it might be long enough.

Sounds like he is just back logged, but he certainly indicated he has the technical ability to build one when I e-mailed him.

I assume youíre referring to Jim stringfellow, if so I contacted him and it wasnít a thing yet. I have a cedrus but itís short for small wave prone, and I found the weight savings over aluminum to not be worth it, which is what I gather is the case with axis carbon too. At least with NL you get a way lighter setup in exchange for less stiffness.

How long ago did you ask? He sure sounded like he could do it when I emailed him a few weeks back.

The price point is pretty innovative too. Feels like the market is maturing a little.

Oh, say more about the benefits of aluminum masts over carbon. You've got me curious now.

Anyone have one laying around that they want to part with? Just need the mast, ideally the 75 or 82 and the base plate, maybe the doodad.

I'm curious, but rocker is going to make all the difference on these. My 8'2 widepoint always felt like it had too much nose rocker. The mock up on the site makes it look like it might have chines, which would make it a very different beast than the old wide points were.

If you told me two years ago that foiling would progress to the point that guys are filming how to videos on selfie sticks while pumping I would have never believed you. Of course, I'm still struggling to pump after three years, but that tip he gave about moving your front foot back seems to be helping.
